La récolte va commencer, mais là ce n'est que l'ouverture d'un coupe-feu. Ils mettront probablement le soir même le feu au champ. Enfin dans les jours qui suivront, ils couperont la canne avant qu'elle ne se détériore.
La canne elle-même ne brûle pas pour autant, étonnant non?
Seule la paille, autour des cannes brûle, autorisant ainsi une récolte plus facile à trier.
